This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information for the app “ニアピンGO” (NearPinGO) and this landing site. We designed the service to minimize data collection and to process sensitive signals (like location) on device wherever feasible.

• Location on device: your device location is used in real time to generate a virtual course and compute distances. We do not send or store precise location on our servers.
• Motion/gesture signals: if supported by your device, motion input used for gameplay is handled on device and not stored on our servers.
• Basic technical logs: standard HTTP logs (e.g., IP address, user agent, timestamps) may be recorded by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

How we use information

• To provide core features (e.g., compute proximity to the pin and update the on‑screen experience in real time).
• To keep the service secure and reliable (e.g., preventing abuse, debugging issues).

Storage and retention

• Precise location and motion signals are processed transiently on device and are not retained by us.
• Server logs (generated by the hosting platform) are retained for a limited period consistent with security, troubleshooting, and legal requirements, then deleted or anonymized.

Third‑party services

• Hosting/Delivery: the site is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). Their systems may process standard HTTP logs necessary to deliver content securely.
• Embedded media and external links (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, X/Twitter) are subject to those services’ own privacy policies when you visit or play embedded content.

Cookies and similar technologies

• We do not use advertising cookies. Essential cookies (or local storage) may be used for functionality like theme preference. - We do not use third‑party advertising or track users across apps or websites.

Children’s privacy

• The service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us to request deletion.

Data sharing and sale

• We do not sell your personal information. We share data only when necessary to operate the service, comply with the law, or protect safety and security.

International users

• Data may be processed in the country where our hosting provider operates. We apply the practices described here regardless of your location.
